Sunset Trees

This is a walk from Riding Mill railway station to the landslip near Corbridge on 18th October 2016. I am on the south bank of the river. I had never walked along this section before, and it hadĀ a secretive feel. So many trees on the edge of the water, which was high, so they framed my view. On the way back watching the sudden shaft of sunset light peeking from below the line of thick cloud, illuminatingĀ the trees, just for a moment and then it was gone. Waiting and watching for more and then a flock of ducks flying downstream. Fish rising to the waters surface, they are there!
